remember Ron Conner having to come all the way to Salt Lake City to “fix”
a new D that the “Steinway tech” (Anti PTG fellow) couldn’t
fix. It was what you said. It also corrected a tone and volume issue on

Is there enough deflection (side to side) from the wire to the bridge top? I've
noticed this deficiency on some S&S's, and now and then, I've created
enough by moving (spacing) the wire a bit, correcting the false beat.<br>

octave only I have several strings with strong false beats. All bends are made,
etc. Bridge pins are tight, CA glued. Pushing on the pin with a screwdriver
doesn’t help. It’s new, so I don’t think the v-bar is an
