On our restorations both Steinway and others we ditch the stock screws and install the Yamaha type wing screws. This is an especially handy feature in high use settings. The part which comes from piano-tech has the folding head which hides it from view<br>
I find the old screws easy to turn with a screw driver and the newer type to always be fit too blasted tight. <br>
