Hi Ed-<br><br>Yes, we considered but I had already invested significant labor reconditioning these original reps and wasn't as confident matching wood whippens with composite shanks. I suppose that should work fine though. <br>
Anyway, I had already bored the hammers to 7/32 when we learned of the delay on Renner replacements- so we put that project to the side and waited. I have a set of WNG for Baldwin on the shelf here and may give those a try soon. <br>

I think they have all the M&H dimensions covered, and I seem to remember that they can duplicate whatever flange/shank combo needed. Never seen anything as consistent as they are, and the last two actions I have put together with them have gone together like the engineers designed them. When regulated, all the let-off buttons and drop screws are in straight rows. (that IS where most of the irregularities accumulate when the regulation is done). I have never seen that with wooden parts. </font></div>
