Hi Roger,

Many thanks to you and Gail for supporting PTG/CAUT activities this
year. The forums that you participated in, and financially assisted, were
first rate. The continuing support of Dampp-Chaser is making the job of
educating academia about PTG, and the work of CAUT's, so much eaiser.

Regards,

Hello list,
Here is a brief update on CAUT issues that Dampp-Chaser is working on along with a technical question related to square
grands.
1. Data loggers are deployed. We are pleased to have Roger Jolly join the Field Data Acquisition Program this year. If any of
last year's participants have not returned the data logger we furnished it is not too late.
2. Beta testers for the CAUT workload formula portion of our website need to exercise a bit of patience. We have
encountered a security issue that we are having great difficulty resolving with our current host. We may need to switch web
site hosts. We are shooting for the first of the year. We may have the issue resolved earlier, but I assume you all will be very
busy during the end of November and throughout December.
3. I am committed to transcribing Claude's presentation at Dallas, but am not making the progress I should. If anyone thinks
they could get the job done quickly I would be happy to pass the torch, given the approval of Chris Soliday for his audio
recording.
4. Technical question - I was working with a technician on how to design a climate control system for a square grand. A
knowledgeable and reputable technician strongly recommended against this. I would not argue with this reputable technician
and said we should abandon the project. The technician I was working with wondered if others have had experience with a
square grand and climate control. I agreed to post the question to this list. Any comments?
In closing I would like to express my gratitude to those I have worked with this year. While we haven't solved all your problems,
your openness has been helpful to us in rethinking our product. Thanks for your acceptance of Dampp-Chaser.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Roger
