was made, by hand. They had a cork or felt block, with either a very fine
steel wool, or really fine grit sand paper, and all they did, was to rub in a
straight line. This distorted the sheen finish, with very fine scratches, which
gave the satin effect.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
