search for “The Well Prepared Piano” by Richard Bunger. In =
this
book he specifies all of the “ins and outs” of preparing =
pianos,
specifically for the works of John Cage. In the beginning of the book =
there is
actually an advertisement for a recording of “The Perilous =
Night”
made by Mr. Bunger. In the book there are specific lists of supplies =
needed and
indeed there is even a photograph of a piano which has been prepared for =
“The
Perilous Night”. It is indeed a “pleasure” listening =
to this
music and the interesting timbres the preparations =
