<DIV>At UA, the department charges anyone not associated with the university=
$1000 for the use of the Concert Hall, and $500 for the use of the Recital H=
all.
That money goes to the department. Plus, they have to hire a door manager, a=
stage manager, a technical/lighting manager, a backstage manager, and a
housekeeper, all at $25 per hour, minimum 4 hours, all of whom get
paid separately. (Checks made out to the individuals.) And If they=
want the piano tuned, they have to pay me my going rate. Special rent
consideration is given to school and churches, but not the managers, etc. We=
have about a dozen or so of these events scheduled per year. </DIV>
