<DIV>I just want to give a report on the D I had trouble with. A big thanks =
to
David Love for the voicing help. I did what he suggested, (a couple of drops=
of
laquer/tinner on the shoulders, and a dab of acetone/keytops on the top). Th=
e
piano came alive. Obviously I had to do some voicing, but in general, t=
he
piano sounded great. I spent a total of about 4 hours on it. </DIV>

<DIV>Just in time, too. On Monday Peter Frankl played the Emperor Concerto w=
ith
the Tuscaloosa Symphony. He played the Brahms here last year, and was expect=
ing
the same sound as before. When he first played the new version of it, h=
e
didn't like it. But after warming up, and rehearsing with the symphony, he
decided he did like it, although he requested some shift voicing in the kill=
er
octave. </DIV>

<DIV>After the concert I had quite a few very positive comments from members=
of
the faculty. I have not heard yet from the piano professor, but then I haven=
't
seen him yet either. </DIV>
