Dear Michael, I agree. Tuning Forks are something from the past. I would be doing a disservice to my customers to use one. I hope some rules for testing are changed. I use a Boss chromatic tuner to set pitch, but tune aurally. It is very concise and consistant for pitch. Tuning forks vary just from hour to hour. That's not fair to a technician or a customer.
