Dear fellow piano techs:

Help!  I am in the process of writing an article for the Journal on the effects
of inharmonicity on 2:1, 4:2, 6:3, and 8:4 octaves. This message is an appeal
to other university techs.  If you have in your inventory a Steinway model B,
would you do the following:

      Set F33 to 174.61 Hz
      Very carefully tune a 4:2 octave using the M3-M10 check
      Let me know what happens to the 2:1 octave.  Is it contracted?, Just?
      Expanded?
