[Stanwood] A question for you. How do you set dip/aftertouch? With
your method is there any leeway? I mean could you shave a little off
the 0.025" and still have an eensy weensy bit of aftertouch? I've
heard it said that this minimal aftertouch is common in Europe.
     --------------

Message title change intentional. Your point about 'minimal
     aftertouch' is certainly true.

While working at a large dealership in the '70's, I recall trying to
"fix" the aftertouch on a number of pianos (Bechstein and Bluthner
come to mind) that weren't broken. I've had no access to recent
production, but on the earlier vintages, if you wanted aftertouch, you
     had to imagine it!
