You know those Kimball/ Scheurer actions with the horizontal wippen flanges, teeny reps and the crazy angle on the letoff rail? (Isn't the touch just lovely on those? < g > ) Well today I tracked down a low pitched chirping sound to _the jack thread loop grating along the concave curve in the jack return spring _!
