[Newton Hunt]

I built a gantry out of 2x4s at a cost of about $30, including bolts and
washers.  I was able to acquire a 1/2 ton electric chain hoist for $300.  It
was taken into a shop to have the motor rewound with new switches and brake
pads and was never picked up by the owner so the shop sold it to me.  The
gantry is made to be portable and assembled under a low cieling.  It works very
well.  I have pulled a M&H AA plate with not problems.
