Newton,
When you find yours, would you please let us know where you found it?  I
believe we may have lost them in a similar parallel universe (probably a
lot of "singles" socks there, too!).

Problem I find with these solid teflon parts is that I can't seem to get
the darned flange to move in a fluid motion.  It's *jerky*!  How the heck
are you supposed to measure friction when breaking inertia is half of the
battle!?  Someone probably posted something similar to this already, and
in my half-attention I've overlooked it.  Forgive the repetition if I'm
repetitive....
