A plate from a 1920s Steinway L fell over and the longest strut cracked through at the back, and another crack appeared near a sound-hole nearby. Is the piano history, or is there a way to weld it? Anyone point me to an article or an expert? Benjamin Treuhaft Berkeley, Calif.
