Shrink-Wrapped Pianos

Dear List,
Woke-up this morning, reached for my coffee (..blend of Sumatra, Kona, &
Columbian)
and was struck by a random thought-particle sleeting through my (tiny) brain.

If these polyester finishes get much better... there won't be any wood
in there soon.
Pianos will be assembled from wood as a template and finished in polyester. A
tiny hole will be drilled in the top... and a matching one at the base of one
leg. Acid will be poured into the opening (... it won't chew on the
polyester!) and the wood pulp will be drained from the leg. Leaving behind a
hollow polyester coating. Weird, huh?

Kinda like a really big hollow chocolate-bunny. Wonder what that would
sound like?

Hmmm,
Jef

As Hunter S. Thompson says; "When the going gets weird, the weird turn
pro."
