Greg,
My solution is to have a thermostatically controlled interior car
warmer in my car. I plug it in on cold nights. If the sun is shining
during working hours, there is no problem but if it is cold and cloudy, I
ask the customer is I may plug my car into the plug on the side of their
house or garage. It's great to come out and get into a warm car and, of
course, my tools and liquid supplies are protected.
Works for me!

HELP!
Recently acquired several pieces of key/keytop replacement equipment believed
to be Oslund ?!? Have not a clue as to whether it is complete or functioning
(it's now at a friend's shop; he's checking it out).
We'd appreciate any info, comments, recommendations concerning this stuff.
Thought there had been an article some time back, maybe years ago, in the
Journal, but I couldn't find any reference in the indices.
This is my first post. I've been lurking (is that the term?) for many months
and find many of the threads interesting and/or helpful. E.g., the issues
involved in the Institutional Piano "Loan" programs. I am the tech
(part-time, "contract basis') for the Music School at Stetson University here
in DeLand, FL., where approx. half of our pianos are through such a program.
I'm at Stetson only a few hours a week. Most of my work is the "usual"
residential, school, church tuning and repair stuff, with just enough concert
work to make me glad I don't do a lot more.
Replys to the Oslund inquiry can be direct, unless you feel there is enough
interest to post to the list.
Thanks
