Hi Jim.
Naturally you could try calling Al for an answer, but that would be too easy, wouldn't
it? I often find that I have to relocate my Accu-tuner to get
better placement. Probably some sort of standing wave pattern so that the tuner
is hearing at a nodal point in the wave pattern coming at it. You may want to
try using the magnetic induction pick-up and see if the notes still stay quiet
in your tuners lights. If so then I would wonder about circuitry. If the lights then come on,
you may have a problem either with location or the microphone.
