The PTG New England/Eastern Canada Regional Seminar will take place near Boston from May 2 to 5, 1996. Instructors will include: Bill Spurlock, Fern Henry, Jim Harvey, Chris and Karen Robinson, Wally and Vivian Brooks, Bob Marinelli, Al and Dave Sanderson, Dan Levitan, David Stanwood, Andre Bolduc, Ed Hilbert, Scott Jones and Michael Mohr (Steinway), Don Mannino (Kawai), Tom Rourk (Mason & Hamlin), Kent Webb (Baldwin), Bill Brandom (Yamaha), and others. There will be more than 30 classes. There will also be a College and University Technicians Forum, moderated by Danny Dover (Dartmouth College), on Non-Traditional Piano Use. The new video on the subject by Alan Eder will be shown, followed by a group discussion on the subject. Just prior to the seminar, on Thursday afternoon May 2nd, there will be tours of Mason & Hamlin, Hubbard Harpsichords, and Fisk Organ. All require advance sign-up. For entertainment, there will be a concert by Mason & Hamlin on Friday night, and a Boston Harbor Cruise with dinner and music on Saturday night.
