A college whose pianos I service recently bought a nearly new Fandrich
upright. I tried installing a "Hands Off" fallboard lock, but it doesn't fit.
The distance between the bottom of the keybed and the top of the fallboard is
about 6 1/2 inches, and the Hands Off has a max clearance of about 6 inches.
Does anyone know of an available fallboard lock that might work, or do I
have to get one custom built?
