Has anyone used the old "plate-it-yourself" hobbie gunsmith method to plate lyre pedals? I have run across a supply for nickle plating from Texas Supply, Inc. The system evidently runs off a 12 volt battery, simple electrolysis (sp?). The cost is relatively cheap, but will the results withstand the wear at the sustain pedal? Just thought I'd ask my colleagues before I experiment. :-) Lorlin B, RPT
