I'm one of the many technicians who mostly just listens. But I do want to
say thank you to all of you for the informative discussions since I have
been on the list (middle of September). The day I subscribed some of you
were discussing a Wurlitzer metal pinblock. The very next day I ran into
the first and only one I have ever seen at one of my church customers! I
have learned so many other helpful tips and some things that I share with
colleagues that don't have internet access. Thanks!
Perhaps this may be interesting to some of you. I tuned last week some
Kawai program pianos at a small university near me (my undergrad alma
mater). One of my former profs had a spectrogram on his computer right
beside the piano in his voice studio. He made me a disk so I could load it
onto my computer at home. He also gave me the addresses at which he found
the spectrogram for Mac and pc. I don't have a sound card yet and so
haven't tried it out.
