Grand Carriage

Dear Don, Jeff, & Rick,

   Regarding the use of oversize-casters on 9-ft. grands.

     One of the (..few) advantages to using a carriage or truck is the safety
factor. With the piano mounted on a carriage you are less likely to snap a
leg when you hit an obstruction. If you've got smooth floors, and rarely move
the piano, then don't worry about it.

     The gentleman who needs to roam through the building to other rooms, or
in & out of an elevator, may want the extra safety of the full-blown truck,
yes? Skilled labor is not always on hand for moving these pianos, check your
floors!

Sincerely,

ps-  Reminds me of an ad I once saw;
"Call us for Skilled Piano Moving. Safety is our watchword. (...also kindling
for sale)."
