Keytop glue longevity - Thanks!

Thanks to all those who replied to my inquiry about how long I (or, more
importantly, my customers) should expect keytops to stay glued.

It seems that the answer is: virtually forever.

I had one private response from someone who had some tops glued with contact
cement come unstuck, but he didn't say what the keytop material was, and he
wasn't completely sure that the cement he used was fresh.

I'll be interested to see how the piano store that replaced my customer's
friend's keytops handles the situation (the keytops began to come unglued after
nine years). Would YOU warrant a keytop repair for as long or longer than ten
years?
