I have also used Varnish with great success. (Marine Varnish) No jumpy pins and good setting of pins. Readily available at any hardware store. I use a rifle brush to clean out the hole and apply the varnish...protect the underside as for the drips. Ed Tomlinson Tomlinson Tuning and repair
