Gentlemen and Ladies ( ok Joel ? )

Steinway M #187630 built in New York 1918

Does anyone know how many trichord damper felts should follow the 2 (two)
bichord dampers (for the wound strings) on the treble bridge before the flat
damper felts?

Also, were the origional dampers set up with the split trichord felt on the
front of the damper block with flat felt on the rear ? or were they split
felt on both front and
rear ? or some of each ?

This piano had been restrung in the past and only three split trichord felts
were used in the replacement dampers, and only on the front of the damper
blocks.

Any information will be greatly appreciated
Thanks y'all
