Nordheimer Piano

Bernie,

Nordheimer Piano Company was established in 1844 by brothers Samuel and
Abraham in Toronto. The company first made pianos in 1886. They were
involved in the Landsdowne Piano Coimpany along with other Canadian
Manufacturers. In 1890 they build their own factory in east Toronto. In 1927
Heintzman & Co. bought the factory. Heintzman used the name until mid 1960.
Serial no.'s start in 1890 at 2500 and end ain 1960 at 27846. Serial number
info is listed on page 257 of the Pierce Piano Atlas, 10th edition.
