There sure are some price differences in Westone 25 db custom made
musicians ear plugs. I just picked up my pair last week & they ran me
$75. including the fitting by the audiologist. I,m from Michigan if that
makes any difference.

5 months ago, I suddenly got a huge earache & by the time I got to the
doctor, my eardrum had ruptured. Even though it was a bit rough, I
continued tuning & did just fine---I had no complaints.

Without going into detail about my experience, I would advise anyone to
get to a ear specialist as soon as possible if your ear starts to ache
badly. A regular family doctor MAY NOT be good enough. I'm very
fortunate to have regained my hearing..Your ears are your
livleyhood--treat them well.

The special ear plugs were reccommended by my doctor. He stated that a
piano tuner should not go without them. In my opinion, we can't afford
to be without them regardless of the cost.
