Actually, after the "Crash" and the resultant "Great Depression" the
whole industry was in turmoil and economic chaos. No one could afford
pianos, let alone automobiles! In order to survive many companies started
to cut corners and lower the quality of their products. La Salle was no
exception. So if you want a "good one" it's probably better if you get one
built during the "golden years" twenties, even though it might need fairly
extensive restoration work. Everyone knows that older was better! :-)
