                       I use an old cobblers pleir. They grabb nails from the
front instead of the side. They look like 2 half hooks that come together. I
would guess $10-$15 at a good hardware store. You lift the shank, grab the
knuckle, and squeeze. The knuckle pops right out. You can remove a set in
about 15 minutes. You can also check for them in masonary tools. They are made
of iron. They come in different sizes.
