Hello,
	I don't believe that you need piano makers, for help in curved laminate
clock construction. Search for help from woodworkers involved with
skateboards, Danish seating, office systems, etc. There are lots of sources
for veneer, vacuum clamping systems, and text pertaining to the relatively
simple techniques.
	While epoxy works, for laminates the most common adhesives are hide glue,
alaphatic resins, and microwavable powdered marine glues.
