Hello Rogerio I am putting it on the list also, maybe someone is interested, If you own a SAT you know it already, now The old PT-100 had only eight programs, based on the Yamaha piano models ( M1, U1, U3, C5, CF, FLAT,CP and C3, ) It will tune between 435 and 445 and has a setting for 413. That remained standard for the new model. They added a midi interface, has a footswitch included, and a pickup. They added an easy to remove lithium ion battery, and that is all it does. The old model had a temperament setting and you could choose between Equal Temperament, Meantone, and Werkmeister III, this option is not available in the new model anymore. I have been using this equipment for many years, but as I like to tune by ear, it is not of much use unless when I have to change tone or take it up a lot. Otherwise I see not much use in it. I hope this helps you Elian Degen Piano Tuner and Technician Caracas, Venezuela. -----Original Message----- De: ROGERIO OLIVEIRA DA CUNHA <rogeriocunha@openlink.com.br> Para: pianotech@ptg.org <pianotech@ptg.org> Fecha: Martes 30 de Diciembre de 1997 05:20 PM Asunto: Re: Yamaha PT-100 II Hello Elian. I am owner of a SAT II and I would like to know more about the PT 100. Could you compare the two tuners to me?
