Some of you may have already seen notes about this magazine, and have been wondering about its situation. Ok, here it is. As of a few days ago the first distribution issue has been a reality. It will appear end of March. The magazine as the name suggests will appear 4 times a year, published by the Royal National Institute for the Blind here in Great Britain. It's scope is international, and it is hoped that it will become available in a multitude of special formats. At the moment, it's available in braille, and soon on computer diskette by subscription only. We are hoping to be able to provide the magazine on a similar basis via email, but this is still in the talking stage. So I am now looking for articles for the issue due in June. The closing date will be the end of the previous month. Any contributions in the form of articles welcome. I hope soon we will also be supporting advertising, we need contributions from dealers as well. News of events, info you would like published. I have an additional request. I'd like to use occasional items of interest from the mailing list. I hope that the list manager would be good enough to reply as to the situation re: using this material. Furthermore, if anyone speciffically has any objections to having any of their items placed in the PTQ, please let me know. Unless I hear otherwise, I'll accept silence as tacit acceptance of this situation. That is, if I don't hear anything to the contrary, I'll take it as read that it would be ok to put items from the list into the magazine on an occasional bassis. I am also looking for announcements of pending events that might be germane to the magazine. For further information about subscriptions, contact the R.N.I.B.
