Digital pianos for institutional settings?

Rutgers has 12 Yamaha Clavinovas and two Kawai equivilants in one room used
to teach batch piano lessons.  The problem with this class is that there are
not enough instruments for the number of students.

This system works well for nonpiano majors needing keyboard profficiency.
