I think it's called corfam. Baldwin used to have a program which paid to replace it. I'm sure parts are still available. I once read in Reader's Digest that the material was invented for shoes. It didn't scuff, it was very workable. Problem was, absolutely no "breathing", which led to major problems. It didn't work on feet, and it doesn't work on pianos. You can tell which Hamiltons have it just by the sound they make when playing. Mark Graham
