Using CA glue, as described earlier, will certainly solve the problem, but I am in agreement with the use of yellow glue except dilute it so that it has the consistancy of milk, for color and viscosity. This thin mixture will slide into the joint, swell the wood, dry and bond it all togather. Very thin yellow glue works very well, with a strong bond, IF little or no gap willing is needed.
