My deepest condolences, What ever can go wrong with a piano, will be wrong, unless some highly skilled tech has done some extensive work before you. I recieved my baptism by fire, on the correct installation of agraffes on these PSO's. The thread cutting was very poorly done, and it was evident that the factory at that time, had never heard of agraffe shims. They were never installed in a secure manner, and never aligned correctly with the string deflection, causing some very strange buzzes and zings. I have seen several that have broken, and the brass seemed to be of a very poor quality. Also the threads are are a non standard metric. Expect to do extensive damper work. wires clipping the bass strings on forte blows. I doubt if the pins are original after this length of time, as all of the ones that I have encountered have been repinned long ago. Unless the unit has been practically rebuilt, dont expect your work to last. Walk carefully and dont raise your customers expectations. Horugal the Horrible! Sounds like a Viking raider. Have a great long weekend. Roger Jolly University of Saskatchewan Dept. of Music.
