Ralph: I currently use the SAT almost exclusively for tuning, but in 
training for aural tuning I was taught first the Braid White 5ths & 4ths 
method.  I found this system to be difficult and switched over to the 
contiguous thirds system before taking my RPT exams and found it to be 
much more accurate for me.  If I went back to aural tuning I would use 
the stacked 3rds method.  Patrick Poulson, RPT
