CA works fine for on the spot and quick repairs on this type of hammer problem. Let it wick! That's OK! I just pour it on and use my vise grip pliers to hold it for a few seconds while I spray on the kicker. 6 seconds or so later, I'm done. Move on. I usually don't even charge extra since the problem usually occurs on pianos whose owners are too poor to do the right thing and replace all the hammers anyway. Not that I don't ever charge, but usually it make me a hero. I like that. :)
