CA pinblock repair

Sorry I haven't been paying complete attention to CA repairs other than
noting basically how/when/why. I promise I'll try to access the archives ;-)

Recently one of my favorite customers (she feeds me 10-15 tunings a year at
another school) had me over to her home piano for a look see. It really
needs a complete rebuild, she knows it, I know it, but home budget is
tighter than the school's.

Baby Schumann grand - teens/twenties? - prime candidate for CA treatment to
tide over until budget allows full job. I'd like to suggest CA to her, and
I'm sure she'll go along with it.

My major question, before I show up at her door to do the work, is will I
need to get a 55gal. drum of the stuff first? 'Twould be real embarassing
to get part way through and run out.

How many of those 2oz. bottles do you typically use for a complete block?

Danke/Merci/thanks,

conrad
