Need a Mason Expert

Hi, Ed,

This Mason is a prime candidate for rescaling.  One inch of unwound ends
is much too long.  How much too long depends upon the size of the
scale.  In my experience the shorter the scale the shorter the unwound
ends need to be.  

What make this piano sound bad is excessive inharmonicity.  The addition
of oneinch of wrap will not increase tension more than a couple of
pounds or so.
