Knabe Reproducer

Dear list,
      I have a friend with a Knabe 9' with an Ampico reproducer.  I would
think this
would be a very rare bird indeed.  I've heard that there were a very small
number of
these produced that were intended for promotion only.  Any info from you
history
buffs?
