Tuning files (was RCT and SAT archives)

Hi Garret

The tuning files could only be generated by and used with both Reyburn's
programs (RCT & Tuning Manager).

The workaround would be to produce a text file containing the
descriptions. The main informations found in these files concern the
note being tuned, the note partial the device is listening to for that
particular note and, finally, the cent deviation.

I have already raised the question on this list as to know if it we
could share some "tuning files informations" that we could manually
store in our SATs. I didn't get many response on that, showing that the
idea may not be very popular.

There is something I am still not sure about. I guess that there is no
problem to share a tuning chart that is made from an aural tuning but,
what about a file generated by Chameleon 2 or FAC calculation? Is it
copyrighted? Can someone enlighten us on that point?

Regards,

Michel (no, there is no mispelling) Lachance, RPT
