<<I use those 1/4 lb coils with brake
today and every piece of wire that comes off forms a nice
circle. Please tell me how you set it! I have to admit I'm a
bit doubtful...>>
you bend the brake arm up until the wire is flexed against the direction
of its coil. There is a bit more friction, but the wire will come out a lot
closer to straight.
I am not sure where those things are now, but if I can find them, I will
measure the angle. .
