On the crown/bearing issue. How much is enough? I used a rocker gauge and got about the thickness of a string in bearing. Next visit I will check crown, strike point, cone bolt, plate nose bolt, etc. Thanks to all to who responded (several responded off-list). I am scheduled to return to the piano 9/2/98.
