Had to repin all hammers, a lot of wippens, several rep levers (! Have a fine photo of a wippen lying on a table with the rep lever so seized the jack is sticking out) and a dozen underlevers. Have you inspected the old pins with a magnifying glass? I think you'll find that the plating has failed, and the brass is showing through, with score marks where the fragments dragged around and around. Should be a warranty problem if the warranty hasn't expired. I found that repinning with an unplated pin was enough ... used Don Mannino's broaches, too. The problem didn't recur on the ones I repinned, so rebushing wasn't needed. Good luck .. Susan Susan Kline P.O. Box 1651 Philomath, OR 97370 skline@proaxis.com
