Wow, this the third or fourth request. I shoulda put a price on it. No it is really only a tech tip, that I am glad to pass along in respect to all the others that have been posted here. The Moody Dripolator You will need a "hypo-bottle" or "hypo Oiler #15461 p 15 from APSCO. Schaff also sells them. #184 p 64. and #10 piano (harpsichord) wire. cut a six inch length of #10 piano wire and insert one end through the needle of the hypo applicator. Turn the bottle upside down, and watch the liquid come out in distinct droplets marching down the wire at 1/2 inch intervals. Normaly you don't need to squeeze the bottle, gravity is enough. Insert the tip of the wire between any two flanges you want to apply the liquid. You can tell by the drops rolling down the wire exactly how much you are applying. The #10 wire will fit between most flanges. If the tip is touching the bushing the liquid will be absorbed there. It is very easy to put the tip exactly where you want it. This will dispense Protek CLP. Just tilt the bottle to control the flow. Richard Moody ps Regarding the Vidio, it would be home produced on 8mm copied to VHS, and hopefully would include at least two different actions. I really don't expect to send out any units since the parts are common from the supply houses. They would make nice complimentary gifts though....... > Plans for the Moody Dripolator are free for the asking. > The Dripolator itself is the same price as Jon Page's TLRG, + $1.00 SH. > A video demonstratring its use (showing preparation of formula, > application, and subsequent drying out) will be available for $15.00 > including S&H. > ________________________ > I'm glad it's not my piano! > -- Richard Davenport (date unknown)
