A BRIEF ANIMAL STORY

(an example of using modifiers and repetition in writing to make it more
interesting to read)

by Clyde M. Hollinger, RPT

No one was home as the kind friendly piano technician entered the warm
cozy house to tune the very experienced but rather tired piano. He
confidently went to the piano to begin his very exacting work of keeping
it sounding good at all times.

It wasn't long before a little brown dog with warm puppy eyes, short
brown legs, and a wagging brown tail came slowly down the stairs from
the second floor, where he was probably sleeping clandestinely on
someone's bed. The little brown dog with warm puppy eyes, short brown
legs and a wagging brown tail went dutifully to the kind friendly piano
technician and ... chomped meaningfully on his sturdy masculine leg!
Then the little brown dog with warm puppy eyes and short brown legs
joyfully pranced off, wagging his brown tail.

As the kind, friendly, but now rather wary piano technician tuned the
very experienced tired piano, that little dog lay smiling on a
comfortable sofa nearby, singing along, and was just as nice as pie.

The End
