Hi Jay,
The Sängler & Söhne is/was made in the Ukraine by a Dutch Ukranian
joint-venture.
the Dutch side is a firm formerly called MBI , now it has the name Borg
Trading.
The pianos are made in the Ukraine and the some parts come from Germany.
I'm lucky that I have only ONE customer with such a thing. And this one
completely fits your discription.
And I DON"T raise the pitch to 440, because I don't want to break my arm.
And don't give the piano any water because leaves and branches will grow on
the very fresh wood.
