John: Wynton Marsalis got the Meadows Award for Excellence in the Arts this year at SMU. He spent 4 days here doing master classes, concerts, clinics and in general 4 very busy days. He and his group are excellent musicians and even better human beings. They used two different pianos here during that time. I met Wynton, but never had a chance to meet his pianist.
